Mr. Hart, I do support wired communications and agree that a tower should be located well-away from flight paths. As a note, the infrastructure at Beckworth Peak is maxed out. As a Amateur Radio operator, we tried to get a repeater up there some years ago, but found out that a new underground power line would be required. The road is really rough and the terrain rocky. Verizon really needs to look for another location with access to grid power.
